There is a delay of about 60 – 90 seconds from the time you are set up before you should click Take Live – there is a delay and that is on purpose – it has to do with getting roku, facebook and youtube all to start together.
Green Room
- Ask the host to send approximately one minute early.
- Wait for Active/Recording signal status.
- Allow 15–20 seconds for stabilization.
- Preview picture, sound, lip sync, framing, guests, and clips.
- Green Room and On air: No.
- Give the final countdown.
Take Live
- Press Take Live.
- Confirm On Air.
- Verify the website player switches to the host’s Mux playback.
- Verify Roku reports the production-takeover source.
- Confirm Facebook/YouTube Live.
End Show
- Give the closing countdown.
- Press End Show & Return to Programming.
- Verify website and Roku return to schedule.
- Verify Facebook/YouTube are off.
- Stop their encoder.
Failures
- Host fails before Take Live: stay on air.
- Record incident time, destinations, symptoms, host, and recovery action.
